Barber made the move up in weight category to Flyweight as she made her debut in the weight class during UFC Fight Night : Thompson vs. Pettis versus JJ Aldrich. Roxanne Modafferi ended Barber's three-fight UFC victory streak during the following match, UFC 246. Roxanne defeated Barber in a majority decision. Barber then replaced Casey O'Neill at the UFC 276 fight on July 2nd 2022 and took on Jessica Eye. She won the fight through a unanimous decision as well. It was also the last fight in her contract with UFC however she renewed her contract at the end of the year. Barber won her latest fight with Andrea Lee, on March 25th 2023. The match took place at UFC Fight Night Vera and Sandhagen.
