The victory was a unanimous one. In addition, this was the last fight under her contract with UFC. Later, that same year she signed an extension with the organization. Barber lost to Andrea Lee via a unanimous decision on the 25th of March 2023 at UFC Fight Night Vera Vs. Sandhagen.
