Nancy Wilson and Maisie Richardson

Nancy Wilson is a Grammy Award winning jazz singer. Her birth date was February 20, 1937, in Chillicothe Ohio, to Olden Wilson who was a worker in an ironworks, and Lillian Ryan, a former domestic employee. Nancy is the eldest of six siblings. Nancy was influenced by her father's taste in music as well as the music played at her house. At the age of 4, Nancy already knew her destiny was to be a singer. The talent she had developed was discovered through singing in the church choir. She was a finalist on a talent show on TV at the age of 15 and started appearing regularly on the Tv series Skyline Melodies while still in high school. At nightclubs, she began performing at the age of 15. Nancy quit Central State University in Ohio after she matriculated for an entire year. The first album she recorded was with Rusty Bryant's Carolyn Club Big Band in 1956. They performed from 1956 until 1958. Nancy's initial Dot Records recording was made during her time in the Carolyn Club Big Band. Cannonball Aderley suggested that she make the move to New York so as to enhance her career. In 1959 Nancy made the move in The Big Town. She was hired to sing for The Blue Morocco Night Club in The Bronx which was where her agent had seen her. In 1960, she was signed to Capitol Records and in that same year she issued her first single. Guess who I saw today? Her albums were a hit and Capitol issued five Nancy Wilson albums in two years. Under the direction of Cannonball Adderley, Wilson began concentrating on R&B and then shifted her focus to jazz and torch music. Nancy Wilson, Cannonball Adderley as well as their 1962 partnership led her to the top of the charts. Her breakthrough song Tell Me the Truth by 1963. The following year, she was asked to perform at New York's Coconut Grove, the most famous club in America.

Maisie's acting career got underway in the acting world through the short film Our First World. In 2013, she played Ellie in a film called Americano and Rum. In 2015, Korr Sella appeared as an extra as a cameo Short Wars The Force Awakens. in the Netflix Original Film The Kissing Booth Season 2 or 3, she portrayed Chloe Winthrop.
