Singer and songwriter John Denver touched millions of people, and achieved superstar status with his folk-based pop songs many of them based in Colorado. Henry John Deutschendorf Jr. who was born Henry J. Deutschendorf of Roswell in New Mexico, fell in Love with Colorado. He settled in Aspen.
